Terms of Service

Effective: May 20, 2026

Important — an alarm is an aid, not a guarantee. AlarmK is designed to improve alarm reliability, but it cannot guarantee against physical failures such as a powered-off device, drained battery, or OS limits. For anything truly important, also set a backup alarm in another app, such as the system Clock.

1. Acceptance

By installing or using AlarmK (the "Service") you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service Provision

The Service is provided on an "as-is" basis. Features may change or be discontinued without notice, and availability or freedom from defects is not guaranteed.

3. License

Subject to these Terms, you are granted a limited, non-transferable license for personal, non-commercial use. Reverse engineering, redistribution, or resale of the Service is prohibited.

4. Alarm Reliability Notice

iOS 26 AlarmKit cuts through Silent and Focus modes, but alarms may fail to ring in cases including: a powered-off device, 0% battery, denied permissions, system limits imposed by the OS, and other network or hardware faults. We are not liable for such failures.

5. Your Responsibilities

  • Use a backup alarm for important events
  • Check alarm permissions, charge, and mission (e.g. QR) placement in advance
  • Keep your device in working order

6. Acceptable Use

You may not violate laws, infringe others' rights, disrupt the normal operation of the Service, or attempt unauthorized access.

7. Payments

The Service's core features are currently free, with no in-app purchases and no subscription. If a paid plan is introduced in future, its pricing and terms will be disclosed in advance, and payments/refunds follow Apple App Store policies.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or any alarm failing to ring.

10. Changes

These Terms may change; we will update the Effective date when they do. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Korea.
